Policies: Must Read!
El’s Pampered Paws
We are more than happy to accommodate reservation request. Please remember that we are holding your reservation for your dog. Many times, customers forget that our facility is limited and that we become full often. When we reach our total occupancy capacity, we must refuse reservation requests and turn business away. If you do not cancel your reservations in a timely manner (at least 7 days in advance from reservation dates) we are unable, in most instances, to re-book the space we have held for you.
Please be aware that we try in all situations to work with our customers whenever possible -- on the other hand customers should be aware that we are usually "full" during the summer months at least 3-6 weeks in advance. This means that we are refusing potential customers to hold accommodations for your pet(s). If you cancel or come home early and we are forced to have vacant space, you should expect to be charged -- Please do not blame the attendant or ask them to "reconsider", all variations of policy are reviewed by the owner on the next normal business day and if a refund is approved by the management, it will be applied to your next stay.
Thank You for Your Understanding -- I Hate to Have To Charge Cancellation Fees -- but with your assistance in adhering to our policy as stated this will be avoided.
SUMMER/PEAK SEASON/MAJOR HOLLIDAYS - IN SEASON CANCELLATION POLICY (April 5th thru October 14th) All Reservations Require Payment in Full (Non-refundable & Non-transferrable) If you cancel your reservation within the 7-14 days prior to service or come home early you will still be charging the full amount.
$50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold and guarantee all boarding reservations. We will call to get that payment and add your card on file for your reservation.
Daycare just requires that we have a card on file for any no shows or cancelations.
Cancellation Policy/ Early departure
Cancellation without 7 days’ notice will have deposits forfeited. If the appropriate 7 days’ notice is given, your deposit will be used towards a future boarding date and credited to your account.
Payment is due for the entire reserved stay if it is canceled inside the 7 days prior to stay or if your pet is picked up earlier than expected payment will be for the full reservation.
The office is closed on all major holidays for drop off or pick up. Dogs must be dropped off the day before and picked up the day after due to the closing of the office on the holiday.
Current vaccinations are required for boarding and must include the following: DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
All pets must be treated for flea and tick prevention. These vaccinations must be administered at least 7 days prior to boarding with us and vaccination records must be emailed or brought in at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
If your pet is past due on vaccines, El’s Pampered Paws LLC, has the right to refuse for boarding and charge a cancellation fee as listed above.

When you check your pet in, we ask that you give us the name and contact information of your personal veterinarian and provide us with your preferences regarding veterinary care for your pet during your absence. If a medical problem occurs with your pet, we will first attempt to contact you and get your pet in to see your own vet, if located within 8 miles of the resort. If unavailable, or if the situation is critical, we will take your pet to a nearby veterinarian or to the nearest emergency clinic. All charges for veterinary care and transportation will be your responsibility. Please refer to your Boarding Contract for further information.
Every attempt will be made to provide the care necessary for your pet should an emergency occur. It is important that you leave a phone number where you can be reached or an emergency contact person so that communication between you and the veterinarian can take place in a timely manner. Your emergency contact must be a person you trust, who will be in the local area while you are away, and who you have authorized to make decisions about your pet if you cannot be reached. Your pet is a member of your family, and we honor this relationship. If we are unable to reach you or your emergency contact, we will use our best judgment and act in the best interest of your pet, as if your pet were ours
Please feel free to discuss any special requirements with us when you make your reservation. We will do everything in our power to make sure your pet is taken care of and provided for. The following is a sampling of special needs that can be accommodated:

Kennel Cough Disclaimer and Policy
Kennel cough is a disease that can be contracted in many locations, dog parks, veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, or by simply walking your dog down the street. This infection is similar to the human cold. Kennel cough is a common disease that cannot be fully prevented, even with appropriate vaccination. There are many strains of kennel cough—some bacterial and some viral—and vaccination is not sufficient to protect your dog against all strains. If your dog’s immune system is weak, the possibility of contracting this disease will increase. If your pet’s immune system fails to protect them from this disease and they become ill, it will risk the well-being of other dogs in our care.
E's Pampered Paws will take the following steps if we notice any signs of illness:
Remove pet from group play or individual play time.
Call owner or emergency contact.
Transport the dog to a veterinarian.
Administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian.
Keep the dog calm and comfortable until family can arrange for pick up.
The dog owner will be responsible for payment of all charges associated with the treatment and care of kennel cough. This includes, but is not limited to; transportation fees, vet fees, and medications fee.
Dogs over 10 years old or with medical and health concerns will be required to have our rainbow bridge protocol form to be signed and filled out before boarding.
Payments are due at creation of reservation to book boarding, or at drop off for daily services.
A card on file will be held on account for all clients and membership members and billed accordingly to account holders and charged on the due dates. Memberships are the 1st and 15th of each month unless other arrangements are made previously for a different date. Daycare and daily services are charged at drop off.
All Training packages are "nonrefundable" and due at the start of training.
Payment plans are not always offered or guaranteed and will be worked out with the owner or management and will have a card on file to make auto payments as arranged.
